Recurring threads
Cancel the stand up meeting! Instead, create a recurring thread for your team that automatically posts every day, week, or whenever to gather everyone's updates.

A recurring thread will post to a channel automatically on a schedule. Use a recurring thread to replace a stand-up meeting and gather updates from your team.
Start a recurring thread
To start a recurring thread:
- 1.Click Compose to start a new thread
- 2.Choose the channel you want the thread to post in
- 3.Write the post that will be automatically posted
- 4.Click the ^ icon to the right of the Post button and select Recurring thread
- 5.Set the schedule you want the thread to post on
When the thread is posted, the first block will be the date of that post.
