Notification settings
Set your notification settings to make sure you only get notified about the content you want to be notified about.
Set your notifications
Set how you want to receive notification on desktop and mobile from your Notification settings. You can choose to receive notifications by email or in app.
If you're having trouble with notifications, you can send a test desktop notification or test mobile notification directly from the notification settings.
To manage your notification settings:
Go to the top right corner of Threads
Click your profile photo
Select Notification settings
Channel notifications
Manage your notifications for specific channels. You can choose whether you want to receive notifications for:
All threads and comments
Just threads
Just mentions and related replies
To manage your notifications for a specific channel:
Go to the channel
Click the bell icon at the top of the channel
Adjust your notification preference
Mute a thread
There may be times when you want to mute a thread because the discussion is no longer relevant to you.
To mute a thread:
Go to the thread
Click the ... at the top of the thread
Select Mute thread notifications
You can unmute the thread notifications anytime.
Chat notifications
Manage your notifications for specific chat discussions.
To adjust your notifications for a chat:
Go to the chat
Click the bell icon at the top of the chat
Adjust your notification preference
