Information on Threads is naturally structured, so it's easy to find what you're looking for.

Search through threads, channels and chats using cmd k or Advanced search.

Cmd k search

The most efficient way to search on Threads is with cmd k.

To search using cmd k:

1. From anywhere in Threads, use the keyboard shortcut cmd k

2. Search for a specific keyword or a few words

3. Click Advanced search to enter a full search and find what you're looking for

Use filters to find exactly what you're looking for.

To use advanced search:

1. Go to the Search bar at the top right corner of Threads

2. Search for a specific keyword or a few works

3. Focus the search on threads, channels, chats or people, and filter by things like organization, channel, author, commenter, and date
